A short video of the Plan of Salvation illustrating how Heavenly Father created this plan because He loves us. This can also be used as an object lesson.Â

We have all seen The Plan of Salvation in a picture, on a flannel board (if you’re as old as me 😉 ), or even drawn on a chalkboard. I love the new way I’ve seen it where it’s drawn in such a way that it spells L-O-V-E. This is wonderful since that is how the plan was made, out of LOVE from our Father in Heaven.
I have a love/hate relationship with chalkboards so I personally try not to use one too much. That’s why instead of drawing The Plan of Salvation on the board, I made a short video of it instead. Â
If you don’t mind the chalkboard, this does make for a great Object Lesson. As you talk about The Plan of Salvation, draw each part of the plan on the board as you go along. (Drawing as illustrated in the video.) Then end your lesson with having your class look at the picture of The Plan of Salvation and ask them, “What does The Plan of Salvation spell?” And continue with, “You’ll notice it spells LOVE. Heavenly Father created this plan because He loves us.”
For those who prefer to stay away from the chalkboard, this short and simple video is perfect at the beginning of your lesson as an introduction or can be used at the conclusion. Either one would work great. Pick which way works best for you.
Enjoy!
