A video of a talk that was given for a Stake Relief Society Zoom Conference. The topic was JOY. Included is a Free PDF download of the talk.
Due to COVID-19, my stake had to change its Stake Relief Society Conference to a Zoom conference. The theme was “It Is Well with My Soul.” The conference was live with a couple of musical numbers, a guest speaker, and we heard from our Stake President. After the live portion of the conference, everyone was then sent links to the four pre-recorded classes on the following subjects: Peace, Hope, Faith, and Joy. The meeting was wonderful, even by Zoom.
I was asked to do the class on Joy. I learned so much as I put my talk together (as most teachers do) that I wanted to share it with you. Below is the recording of my talk (please excuse my inexperience with Zoom) along with a PDF download of my talk. You won’t want to miss my object lesson with my bicycle wheel 🙂
If I were to name one main theme or takeaway from my entire talk, it would be this:
As we live in these tumultuous times, we can feel JOY as we connect with Christ and make Him the center of our lives.
